At this very moment we are in the middle of an exciting expansion phase and are setting up an in-house accounting team. For this team we are looking for a Senior Accountant!

What you will be up to

As a Senior accountant at Zimpler, you will make sure that we have correct accounting and efficient processes. You will be part of a team of four including an accountant, financial assistant and a financial controller. You will also help set up new systems and structures as we grow into new markets and work together with other teams at Zimpler. We are an agile company and the tasks and assignments will shift with short notice, but you will play around in familiar territory:

Your territory:

Bookkeeping and preparation of financial statements, statutory reporting including annual reports, income tax returns and VAT.
Responsible for all monthly financial reporting.
Ensuring quality of the accounting and reporting to clients.
Provide fast and accurate financial data to the company.
Account reconciliation and transaction monitoring.
Cooperate with colleagues, clients, auditor and other stakeholders.
Make us more efficient by setting up digital expense reporting, RPA and ERP systems in a smart way.
Help colleagues and support to accountants in your team

Who you are

Only the most organized person this side of history (in any direction). You love keeping things in place and are super comfortable taking on complex and unwieldy projects. But you have the humility to know that you probably can’t do it alone and take every opportunity to coach and support your colleagues so you can solve problems together.

To be successful in this role you have:

5+ years accounting experience, including advanced experience in Swedish and international accounting standards and operational experience in carrying out year-end closings, VAT-, tax- and statutory reporting.
Previous experience in preparation of consolidated financial statements.
Been working with financial transactions or other high transaction industries.
Experience from working with multiple currencies.
Experience from cloud based ERP.
Minimum bachelor’s degree in economics, accounting, or finance.
FAR or SRF authorization.
Excellent skills in speaking and writing both Swedish and English.
